Alloy elbow

Alloy elbow is one kind of elbow. The manufacturing process of elbow can be divided into cold bending and hot bending (cold bending and hot bending). Generally, the small diameter can be cold bent, while the large diameter needs to be hot bent. At present, most pipeline networks need elbow pipes, which are mainly used in petroleum, chemical industry, natural growth gas, steam network, bridge engineering, etc. For elbow processing, detailed data and executive standards of elbow diameter DN thickness and R degree (bending radius/pipe outer diameter+thickness+R degree) shall be provided. Common elbow R degrees include: R=2D, R=3D, R=4D, R=5D, R=6D, which can also be produced and processed according to drawings

Alloy elbow has excellent performance of withstanding impact, extrusion, material wear, etc., and is usually used in concrete transmission pipeline, slurry transmission pipeline and other pipelines with serious wear consumption

The manufacturing methods of alloy bends are generally: pushing, pressing, forging, casting, etc

Different alloy bends are used in different places. For example, alloy bends made of

manganese steel are usually used in concrete delivery pipes, mud delivery pipes and other pipes with heavy wear consumption because of their excellent performance of withstanding impact, extrusion, material wear, etc

The high manganese steel alloy elbow is used in the pipeline with intense fluid flow and strong impact

Alloy bends made of nickel steel are usually used in normal temperature transmission pipelines with good concentration of oxidizing acid (nitric acid, sulfuric acid), but will be severely corroded in transmission pipelines with reducing acid (hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid, etc.), unless the concentration of hydrochloric acid is very low

The martensitic alloy bend pipe has higher high temperature strength, performance and steam corrosion resistance at 650 ℃ or below, but its weldability is poor

The appearance inspection of the alloy elbow should be free of surface cracks, cracks, folds or other phenomena damaging the quality
