What should be paid attention to in the use of the seam elbow

1. When welding the seam elbow, control the welding current not to be too large to avoid too long arc, and protect the intermediate layer at a speed suitable for cooling, so as to prevent indirect corrosion caused by heating, and control the current to save costs and avoid some unnecessary waste

2. In the process of welding the elbow, it is necessary to heat the elbow stably. Failure to do so will reduce the stability and mechanical properties of the elbow and cause certain damage to the elbow itself. Therefore, stainless steel electrode shall be used to heat the temperature to 200 ℃ for preheating, and then conduct 800 ℃ tempering after welding

3. During AC welding, the melting scale of piping is light and the color is easy to turn red, so please use DC power supply as much as possible. When welding bends of the same type, preheating at above 300 ℃ and slow cooling treatment at about 700 ℃ shall be carried out after welding. The hardness after welding is high and cracks are easy to occur, which will cause certain damage to the pipe. Therefore, attention shall be paid to this point during processing to avoid damage to the pipe body
